Dominique Taylor
State Managing Director

Dominique Taylor is a partner in RSS, where she oversees all non-financial aspects of school performance. All RSS Heads of School report to her, and she is also the primary RSS liaison with our client school boards.

Dominique began her career in Miami-Dade County Public Schools as an elementary and ESL teacher. In 1994 she was named Title I Teacher of the Year in Miami-Dade USD. She left the classroom after five years to become a reading specialist, a position she held for five years. She then became an assistant principal of a very highly achieving elementary school of 1500 students in suburban Miami. Since then she has held multiple administrative posts overseeing academic improvement efforts and operations efforts as a principal and school network administrator.

She and Richard O’Neill have been working together in turnaround school environments since 2003. She has completed all the coursework needed for her Ph.D. at Barry University, Miami and received her Masters at the University of Miami.
